I live in New England which is notorious for damp moldy basements especially during the summer. I have had two AirFree air sterilizers in my basement for the last two years and they really have prevented mold from growing. I recommend using them with a good dehumidifier in a humid basement - I have the Danby dehumidifier which I also got at AllergyBuyersClub.com. The best thing is that the Airfrees are maintenance free - just plug them in and forget about it.
